Pharrell Williams Skirts Eco-Friendly Lifestyle

Theboombox :    Pharrell Williams has had a longstanding career in the fashion industry, working with the textile company Return Textiles, known for recycling bottles and turning them into clothes. But according to Skateboard P, he has never been eco-friendly and still doesn’t try to be conscious of the environment.

The famed Neptunes producer and N.E.R.D. frontman, who joined Return Textiles as a product ambassador and investor in 2008, claims that he’s focused on making a solid product, regardless of how it’s produced.

Speaking with the Associated Press, he revealed that he “hates to put so much emphasis on the recycling part of it,” and that its eco-friendliness is just an “added value.”

Back when he came aboard the company, he was singing a different tune. “I’m so interested in the technology behind this,” he said at the time. “I’m also very concerned about the environment and want to make a conscious effort to make it better.”
