AC Milan President Silvio Berlusconi: The Scudetto Is Already Ours

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is ready to make a preemptive bid on the Scudetto after telling his closest aides during a ceremony in Rome that the title was already in the bag.

“It’s already done now. The Scudetto is ours,” Berlusconi reportedly said, according to La Repubblica.

He was at the residence of the Ambassador to the Netherlands in the Italian capital alongside veteran Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf who was nominated Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau, and was honoured for sporting merits and social efforts.

Seedorf, whose contract at San Siro expires in June, has been linked with a Brazilian move to both Corinthians and Flamengo but said he had no intention of quitting the game.

“There are many important motivations and conditions. Until these are here then I will not set myself any limits,” he said when asked what his future holds.

Milan meet Bologna this weekend and they could be crowned champions if they win and Inter slip at Cesena.
