Mogadishu — General Yusuf Mohammed Siad better known as Indha-adde, one of Somali of Somali military officers, on Thursday said that the military ability of what he called Al shabaab militant group has been weakened.

In an exclusive interview with Shabelle, a local radio station based in the Somali capital Mogadishu,Indha-adde said that Al shabaab has no power to defend the regions they are now in control.

He said that Somali government troops are committed to drive out Al shabaab fighters from Mogadishu as quickly as possible.

He warned using some of Mogadishu streets saying that the Islamist group of Al shabaab may have planed explosive. He stated that it is not safe for the people to use every road in the capital.
