One Fatim Marong, a native of Mandorry in The Central Badibou District is currently in need of assistance to undergo an overseas treatment.
According to the C.T scan of the brain signed by Dr. Tamayo, radiologist consultant at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) the cerebral sulci, sylvian fissures and subarachnoid space are widened; mild compensatory dilatation of lateral ventricles is noted. The scan concluded that the little girl has a Brain Atrophy.
Speaking to the Daily Observer, Mustapha Marong, an uncle to the patient said the baby’s parents have done everything possible to help their child, but cannot afford her overseas treatment.
