Niko Kranjcar set for meeting to discuss Tottenham future & reveals interest in Serie A move

Niko Kranjcar looks set to leave Tottenham in the summer as he has arranged a meeting with his chairman and manager over his role in the side.

The midfielder has seen his first-team opportunities extremely limited this season, starting just two Premier League games, and has scored more goals for Croatia this campaign than for Spurs.

It seems that the Croat is eyeing a move abroad at the end of the season, and believes he would settle well in Serie A.

Kranjcar was quoted as saying by The Sun: “Is there a point of beginning next season as a bit-part player? None whatsoever.

“I have an agreed meeting with the chairman Daniel Levy and the manager Harry Redknapp, it should happen within a week.

“After the meeting I want to have a clear picture about my status.

“I would definitely be interested in moving to Italy. I think I would adapt quickly to Italian football.”
