Guber Polls – Aliyu, Kwankwaso, Fashola, Amosun in Comfortable Lead

The results of the gubernatorial poll held on Tuesday are still being collated at the Independent National Electoral Commission ,INEC ,offices in the state capitals across the country

In Niger state,Governor Babangida Aliyu of the Peoples Democratic Party has won in 11 out of the 12 local government areas whose results had been collated. He lost in Kontagora local government council to the PPP candidate. The results of the remaining 13 local councils in the state are still being collated. In the assembly poll,the PPP won the two seats in Kontagora LG

Former Governor of Kano state,Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, may be on his way back to the Government House ,Kano as he is leading the other gubernatorial candidates in the collated results so far. Out of the 44 local government councils in the state , Kwankwaso , a former Defence Minister is in clear lead in the collated results in 40 LGs

In Ogun state , Senator Ibikunle Amosun of the Action Congress of Nigeria is leading in 11 out of 12 local councils results collated so far. He is being trailed by Brig-General Adetunji Olurin(rtd) of the PDP who maintained a distant second position. Ogun state has 20 local government councils

Also in Lagos state ,Governor Babatunde Fashola of ACN is in comfortable lead in the results collated so far in nine out of the 20 local government councils in the Centre of Excellence. In the state assembly poll, ACN won the two seats-Epe 1 and Epe 2- declared so far by INEC
