Contactmusic : Sean Combs’ police escort to a New Jersey nightclub last week (22Apr11) is under investigation after it emerged the move was unauthorised.
The rapper was given special treatment by cops at the New York Police Department, who ushered him to hotspot 4Sixty6 in West Orange, New Jersey after he performed at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan on Friday (22Apr11).
According to reports, Combs had planned to charter a helicopter for the journey but could not get clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration.
An Nypd sergeant is believed to have dispatched the escort for Combs, despite not having permission to do so.
