Goal of the Job:
The successful candidate shall be responsible for maintaining all engineering machinery & equipment of the company. The role reports to the Engineering Manager .
Constantly monitor the maximum and minimum levels of all essential spare parts and promptly advise the Engineering Manager for reordering
Submit comprehensive periodic reports on all major breakdown indicating causes and solutions to the problems as well as suggested preventive measures to the Engineering Manager
Promptly repair all broken down machines and equipment
Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining plant equipment to support continuous production for 24/7
Assist with implementation of new installation or modifications to the existing facility
Assist in maintenance of a zero-accident environment
Assist in excellent house-keeping of the site
Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians
Required Skills or Experience
HND (Electrical Option)
A minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience within the FMCG, Industrial, construction, engineering or related industry
Knowledge in computer i.e. Microsoft Office Applications
Knowledge in Auto Cad Drawing
Knowledge in Contract Specifications
Knowledge in Manufacturing Best Practice
Knowledge or experience in the Food manufacturing environment
