The board of the Nigerian Premier League will today meet to deliberate on issues concerning the commencement of the Super Four and other issues affecting the league.
Making this known to Inside Out Premier League, acting Executive Secretary of the board Tunji Babalola said the meeting was informed by the incessant comments in the media about the venue of the pre-season competition.
He also said that the issue sponsorship of the league would be discourse at the meeting.
“The board will be meeting on Thursday to decide the venue of the Super Four and other issues concerning the league. The meeting was necessary because the date of the new season needs be settled.
The board is poised to bring back sponsorship to the league as funds are highly needed to run the league, they will address it,” Babalola said.
