General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, has called on believers across the country to engage in fervent prayers for the country so that it can overcome its present challenges.
Pastor Kumuyi who made the call on Sunday while delivering a nation-wide sermon on “Effectual fervent prayers for the nation,” noted that the myriad of problems bedevilling the country demands effective prayers for God’s divine intervention.
He decried the level of insecurity, corruption, dishonesty and unemployment facing the country and called for national repentance to enable God turn around the situation of the country.
Kumuyi, who said God answers prayers, however said that such prayers must be made from a righteous heart and as well governed and guided by the will and word of God.
