Luanda — Issues related to police cooperation were analysed Monday, in Luanda, by the Angolan Home Affairs minister, Sebastião Martins, and his counterpart from Equatorial Guinea, Nicolas Obama Nchama.
The minister of Home Affairs and Security of the Central African country told the press that he came to Angola to learn on how to organise big events, as next year, his country will host the soccer African Nations Cup together with Gabon.
According to the government official, Angola and Equatorial Guinea share bilateral relations of along time, reason why it is necessary to strengthen this cooperation.
Nicolas Obama Nchama met high Angolan police officials, from them he received clear explanation about national police functioning.
During his trip to Angola, the minister of African Spanish-speaking nation will visit some institutions like the High Institute of Police Science, Criminality Laboratory and the Command of the Riot Police (PIR).
