The Copa Coca Cola national league in Arusha Region has been postponed to allow continuation of the Inter-Secondary Schools competitions widely known as Umoja wa Michezo wa Shule za Sekondari Tanzania (UMISETA) at the Arusha Meru Secondary Secondary School grounds in the Arusha City.
Speaking with this writer, the Acting Secretrary of Arusha District Football Association (ADFA), Mr. Abdul Kondo
said they have been compelled to reschedule the league due to lack of playing group since most of them were being used for the on-going Andengenye Cup aimed at promoting community policing.
He also explained that the league aimed at tapping talents and to get a team which will represent Arusha District in the regional draws. So far the leading team in the league is Olduvai.
In the Copa Coca Cola League which kicked off on April 9 this year. The teams which have already played are Proyota,
Golden Kids Sports Club, Ujamaa Sports Club, Small Nyota and Tacoda Sports Club. Other teams which participated were Inter sports Academy, Arusha United, Azimio Rangers, Police Kids and Future Stars Academy.
