Bosaso — A prominent Somali elderly man was gunned down by unidentified men armed with pistols at the center of Bosaso, Puntland commercial town, eyewitnesses said
After going out a mosque in which he performed Maghrib prayer, Sa’id Mohammed Sa’id has been sprayed with bullets.
Witnesses said he immediately died at the scene as the assailants escaped.
At least two others, who were present at the crime scene, were also wounded.
Shortly after the shooting a lot of Puntland security forces have reached and started searches in the niehghborhood where the killing has taken place.
It is not still known if the security forces apprehended people in connection with murder.
