Luanda — The two titles won by Petro Atletico women team of handball in Yaounde (Cameroon) are very important to the national team.
This was said Saturday in Luanda by the chairman of the Angolan Handball Federation (FAA), Pedro Godinho.
Pedr Godinho was speaking at Luanda’s “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport, on the arrival of Petro de Luanda that won the Babacar Fall Super Cup and the Cup of Cup Winners Cup.
According to him, this represents an added value for the national team.
“They once more represented the country bravely at the level of clubs, which makes me more and more hopeful about the success of the national team that this year have two important competitions”, he explained.
The national squad is to play this year, in September, the Pan-African Games, in Maputo, and the World Championship, in Brazil’s Santa Catarina city.
