President/Founder of the foundation, Sir David Osunde, who spoke to newsmen in Abuja, said other activities will include a seminar, thanksgiving mass/reception and a gala night.
He said about 62 institutions caring for persons with disabilities have been shortlisted for financial assistance, in addition to scholarship awards for such persons in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions across the country.
Sir Osunde, while congratulating President Goodluck Jonathan over his victory in the last presidential elections, urged him to give the much needed attention to the Disability Bill as harmonised by the National Assembly.
He said the foundation, which started operations 19 years ago in Benin City, has opened an Abuja office to cater for the North and presently has about 5,000 members nationwide.
