Wakefield have experienced prop Michael Korkidas back after a three-match absence with a knee injury.

Hooker James Davey is also in contention but stand-off Ben Jeffries and three-quarter Luke George are still missing through injury.

Wigan are set to be unchanged for the third successive match after the last-gasp Good Friday win over St Helens.

Forward Chris Tuson and winger Darrell Goulding are again likely to be the ones missing from the Wigan 17.

Wakefield duo George and Jeffries were late withdrawals from the team that shocked neighbours Castleford 28-24.

Wigan won by the same scoreline earlier in the day, Liam Farrell’s last-minute try securing a famous win over rivals St Helens.

Wigan, who have not lost a Super League game on the road in more than a year, have won on each of their last four visits to Belle Vue, including a fifth round Challenge Cup win in 2009.

Matt Blaymire is the only survivor of their last home win against Wigan, 32-6 in July 2007.

Wakefield will be looking to post back-to-back victories for the first time in more than 12 months.

Wigan coach Michael Maguire:

“Every team is a tough challenge. We have been shown that in the last couple of weeks.

“We have got to make sure we are up for every game. We will be preparing no different for Wakefield as we did for Saints.”
