First-half tries from Sean O’Brien and Cian Healy set Leinster on their way to a victory which sees them regain second place in the Magners League.
The visitors scored all their points in a one-sided first half with Fergus McFadden converting both scores and kicking two penalties.
The Italians showed plenty of spirit in the second half, South African flanker Gareth Krause crossing for a try.
