Carlos Tevez could quit Manchester City and move to Italy during the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reports that Inter and Juventus are both interested in the player, but added that claims of an agreement already reached with the former are wide of the mark.

The possibility of Tevez leaving would be a major blow to City, who have forged a reputation as a buying, rather than a selling, club.

The 27-year-old Argentina international is currently in Milan recovering from a hamstring injury, although in his absence the Eastlands club have reached the FA Cup final after beating their Manchester rivals 1-0.

However, City may be without their key man for the run-in as they hope to secure fourth spot in the Premier League and a place in next season’s Champions League. Roberto Mancini’s men are currently in fourth, two points ahead of nearest rivals Tottenham, with six matches remaining.

The two clubs are set to meet on May 10 at the City of Manchester Stadium in a repeat of last year’s fixture, where a Peter Crouch winner secured Champions League football for Spurs.

The striker, who is City’s top scorer with 22 in all competitions, including 19 in the Premier League, put in a transfer request in December but was not allowed to leave.

The Argentine is currently ranked at 43 in the Castrol EDGE Rankings, a drop of 24 places from February of this year.
