Leeds could welcome back stand-off Danny McGuire in their Easter Monday clash with Crusaders.

McGuire has been out of action since suffering a serious knee injury in the Rhinos’ play-off win over Wigan at the DW Stadium late last season.

However, the 28-year-old is set to make his long-awaited return to action at Headingley after being included in Leeds’ 19-man squad.

Rhinos boss Brian McDermott, who saw his side get back to winning ways at Yorkshire rivals Bradford on Thursday night, has also drafted in 19-year-old George Elliot in place of injury victim Kallum Watkins.

Meanwhile, Crusaders head out on the road boosted by a stunning 32-6 triumph over high-flying Huddersfield on Good Friday.

They still finished the day at the foot of Super League, though, as Wakefield upset the odds themselves in the evening with a derby win over Castleford.

Coach Iestyn Harris has made two changes to his squad from the game at the Racecourse, recalling Wales internationals Gareth Thomas and Ben Flower.

The duo were both rested against the Giants but come back at the expense of Gil Dudson and Vince Mellars, the latter being ruled out with a rib injury.

The game against Leeds will see the Welsh club come up against former team-mate Weller Hauraki; the forward scored 10 tries last season before joining the Rhinos for a fee in the off-season.

Leeds: Webb, Delaney, Senior, Hall, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Buderus, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Sinfield, Cross, Bailey, Kirke, Burgess, Hauraki, Clarkson, McShane, Elliot.

Crusaders: Schifcofske, Thomas, Martin, Reardon, Witt, Sammut, O’Hara, Bryant, Cahill, Chan, Winternstein, James, Flower, Hanbury, White, Johnson, Moore, Lupton, Tansey.
