[unable to retrieve full-text content]After two failed resettlement attempts by the government,IDPs now want to be given money to resettle themselves in areas of their choice.Spokesman Peter Kariuki says they should be allowed to look for land in areas where they will feel secure instead of exposing them to greater insecurity by forcing them to resettle in areas they are not wanted. Two attempts by the government to resettle IDPs suffered setbacks after residents in Kitale and Mau Narok refused to allow the IDPs to resettle in those areas.
