Saracens make two changes to the side that saw off Exeter Chiefs last week.

Captain Steve Borthwick returns after recovering from a shoulder injury and scrum-half Neil de Kock is back after a hamstring problem.

Gloucester will be buoyed by the return of Kingsholm favourite James Simpson-Daniel on the wing after 10 weeks out.

Tom Voyce starts at full-back with Freddie Burns at fly-half, Jim Hamilton is back in the second row and Brett Deacon returns to skipper the side.

Gloucester head coach Bryan Redpath told BBC Radio Gloucestershire :

“We knew how tough these three games were going to be and the key thing is no-one feels sorry for themselves. That’s what high level rugby is.

“I require a level of honesty from players who are willing to go that extra yard even if they are tired. The key thing is that everyone going to Saracens goes down with a mindset that they’ve got to be mentally strong to get a performance, that’s hugely important. If they do that then potentially we’ll get a really good result.

“Whether that wins us the game I don’t know. It will be a tough order for us, but we’ve got nothing to lose.”
