Mustapha Jarju, aka Toubabao, has sent an ‘I am coming’ warning to Equatorial Guinea with his seventh goal of the season.

Gambia is set to take on Caf 2011 Nations cup joint host Equatorial Guinea on Tuesday March 29th , on a friendly in the Central African country’s capital, Malabo.

Gambia has only five strikers listed for the match with a host of key-players missing due to club engagements. Paul Put will be sure to partner Ibou Sawaneh with his new call-up Saihou Jagne at the up front to address his striker shortage.

But with Mustapha-‘Toubabo’ Jarju in an incredible scoring form, Guinea’s defence will be sure to have trouble in trying to marshal down the Gambian sensation.

Jarju is pursuing both club and personal glory this season, as the 24-year-old already has seventeen goals to his name, three goals behind the league top goal scorer as his club Mons stays in line in the hot pursuit for a promotion spot to the first division.

Toubabo was in action on Saturday and got himself on the score sheet in the 73rd minute in Mons 3-0 mauling of Dender.

Gambia will be crossing swords with the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea. The scorpion faces a side that has most of its players plying their trade in Spain. One is playing in the Athletico Madrid reserve team, three in the Spanish second division, five in Spanish community football teams, one in the Brazilian club Cabanese and another from Benfica, now on loan to a Spanish second division side.

Equatorial Guinea is ranked 148, while Gambia is 107 in the Fifa Coca-Cola ranking.
