Danielle Lloyd resting at home after ‘frightening’ baby scare

Pregnant model Danielle Lloyd is resting at home after spending three days in hospital.

The Celebrity Big Brother star was admitted to hospital on Sunday after suffering ‘severe stomach pains’.

After being observed by doctors for three days, the 27-year-old was discharged yesterday evening after a scan showed her unborn child was doing well.

A spokesperson for Miss Lloyd told MailOnline: ‘Danielle Lloyd was discharged from hospital yesterday evening following the results of her scan. I am pleased to confirm that both Danielle and her unborn child are well.

‘Danielle has been ordered to rest for the next few days, and will sadly now miss the Children’s Champions Awards tonight.

‘She would like to thank everybody for their kind words and messages of support during this frightening time.’

Lloyd was picked up from the hospital by her mother Jackie, who had been looking after the model’s eight-month-old son Archie.

The Liverpudlian model was hospitalised on Sunday – a day after attending the opening of the new season of the Alton’s Towers theme park in Staffordshire.

Throughout her hospital stay, the worried mother-of-one kept fans updated with her progress on her Twitter page.

She wrote on Tuesday: ‘Got rushed to hospital on sun which serious dehydration
sickness & dizziness it was terrible but main thing is baby OK
Xsic.

‘Been in
hospital 4 3 days now missing my boys Jamie and Archie so much
need to get home! Just happy my baby is ok and am getting better X.’

Yesterday the mother-of-one revealed on the social networking site
that she’d heard her baby’s heartbeat, which relieved her stress.

Danielle revealed her second pregnancy with fiance footballer Jamie O’Hara, 24, earlier this month and is due at the end of summer.

And she told the Daily Star last week that she has been suffering severe morning sickness so far.

‘I’ve
just been really sick in the shower. It’s really bad. I got big, but
now I think the bump has shrunk but I have the worst morning sickness
ever’, she said.

The 27-year-old told OK! Magazine that she’d discovered her pregnancy after waking up sick on holiday in Spain.

She
said: ‘I thought I’d eaten something dodgy as I’d only had a few drinks
the night before. I even did a Spanish pregnancy test, which told me I
was pregnant.’
