Government said on Wednesday that it has taken notice of the ruling by the High Court on the Ya-Na case and the subsequent reaction by a section of the general public.
A statement signed by Information Minister John Akologu Tia and copied Adomonline.com assured the general public of its commitment to rule of law and fairness to all manner of persons.
Accordingly, Government has directed the office of the Attorney General to study the ruling and take immediate steps as to ensure that justice is done to all persons affected by this ruling.
Meanwhile government has called on the general public, especially Abudus and Andanis to remain calm as Government takes appropriate steps legally to ensure justice and fairness to all.
