Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State has said vigilance during the polls was the first step to good governance.
Mimiko spoke when he and Labour Party (LP) leaders in the state held a campaign rally at Ese-Odo and Irele local government areas yesterday.
He said LP candidates would work for the good of the state.
Mimiko promised to build the bridge linking Ilu-Agbo in Ese Odo to Idepe, Okitipupa.
He said he would also build the Agadagba-Obon-Arogbo bridge.
The governor told the people to vote for LP candidates in thev election, saying they would perform better than candidates of other parties.
The PDP in Ese-Odo recorded another loss at the rally as Awote Felix, its Secretary in Kiribo Ward, dumped it for the LP with his supporters.
