Moore fails with appeal

St Helens hooker Scott Moore has lost his appeal against a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield.

The England international was suspended and fined £300 by the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary committee, following the offence during his side’s 30-16 win at Headingley on Saturday.

Moore subsequently contested the outcome but his appeal was rejected and he will miss Saints’ home game against Bradford on Friday.
