“Maame Dokono And Esther Dapaah Use ‘Pan-Cake’ On Their Faces To Deceive People”

Mr. Daniel Kojo Afrifa, a leading activist of the opposition New Patriotic party (NPP) in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region has alleged that, Ms Grace Omaboe a.k.a. Maame Dokono of Obra’s fame and Hon. Ester Obeng Dapaah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Abirim constituency have forged their age to deceive national, regional and constituency members of the NPP.

The NPP activist told the Ghana Palaver newspaper in an exclusive interview that the duo has resorted to the use of pan-cakes in order to appear youthful and appealing but they are old women who have outlived their political usefulness.

He said Maame Dokono and Esther Obeng Dapaah behave like footballers and they have their political age and their real age. “At certain point they will say they are 60 years and sometimes 64 but that is not the case and they have forged their age to deceive members of the NPP and the general public”, he alleged.

He said both Maame Dokono and Esther Obeng Dapaah are above 70 years and should be bold to admit that they are old women. Mr. Afrifa revealed that Maame Dokono was the classmate of his mother during their childhood stage and his mother is now 73 years, saying Maame Dokono is older than his mother. “How on earth therefore would she come and tell us that she is below 70 years. This is not true and Maame Dokono is being economical with the truth as far as her age is concern”, he said.
