Hannah Denies Calling Nana Addo “Sexy Old Fool”

Dr Hannah Bissiw has denied describing opposition NPP flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo as a ‘sexy old fool’. The Daily Guide newspaper attributed the words to the Deputy Minister, alleging she called Nana Addo names when she addressed NDC students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology a few days ago.

Dr Bissiw told Citi News the paper is merely using her as an excuse to publish its own ill perception of Nana Akufo-Addo.

She said “If Daily Guide think that these are the descriptions that befit Nana Akufo-Addo, and that is what they want to tell him, then that is it, but not me.”

“How could I have used these words, how could I? I would never ever describe him like that. What is the meaning of the “SEXY” that the paper said? Does that mean he is cute or handsome or what? I don’t know what it is” she told Citi News.

Dr. Hannah Bissiw however admits making references to what she considers as Nana Addo’s unfortunate public comments which she believes disqualify him as a leader worth emulating by the youth.

“I made several references like during the NPP’s primaries or so, in 2008, when some people said he was weak, he said they should go and ask the women, he said it…when he was asked about Zongo, he said he had a girlfriend in the Zongo…., which of the presidential candidates say any of these things?”
