Wolves winger Matt Jarvis has been rewarded for his fine form this season with a call-up to the England squad.
Fabio Capello has included the 24-year-old in his squad for an upcoming Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales and a friendly date with Ghana.
The Three Lions will face neighbours Wales in Cardiff on Saturday, before taking on the Black Stars at Wembley on 29th March.
Jarvis will be hoping to earn his first cap in one of those fixtures, providing a welcome distraction from a Premier League relegation scrap at Molineux.
He is joined in the squad by Tottenham’s Aaron Lennon, who makes the cut for the first time since October 2010.
Andy Carroll is also drafted back into the fold, with Liverpool’s £35million man having finally shaken off a thigh complaint.
Kyle Walker is another who will be looking to make his senior bow, with the Aston Villa loanee having failed to see any action on England’s last outing against Denmark.
John Terry has been handed the captain’s armband again by Capello, in the wake of Rio Ferdinand’s injury problems, and he will lead the Three Lions into battle.
