Raul Albiol: Real Madrid Must Be Wary Of Atletico Madrid’s Diego Forlan & Sergio Aguero

Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol is advising team-mates to take extra care against Atletico Madrid, believing the opposition will adopt a shoot-on-sight policy in tomorrow’s derby.

The former Valencia stopper warned that Atleti’s strike force of Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan will pose the biggest threat at the Vicente Calderon.

“Their attacking line up is very dangerous, it has plenty of quality. We have to be very careful against Aguero and Forlan,” he told Bwin.com.

“It’s important that we score the first goal away from home, if they score first then things could become difficult for us. But, we have to be prepared in case we need to come back against them.

“They have the advantage of playing at home in front of their supporters. But, Real Madrid have been winning at the Calderon for years. There have been plenty of games that we have not lost in the derby.”

Albiol says it’s vital to keep the pressure on league leaders Barcelona, and is confident Madrid can force the Camp Nou giants into submission for the title.

“We have to keep on winning so we can fight for la Liga, and it’s fundamental that we do not allow Barcelona to gain any further advantages on us,” he said.
