As Lil Twist gears up for his debut release, ‘Don’t Get It Twisted,’ the eccentric rapper is tapping his Young Money cohorts–Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj–to make appearances on the album.
The 18-year-old’s latest single, ‘Love Affair’ featuring Weezy, finds Twist drawing on his R&B influences, opting to sing instead of rap on the track. Twist has also wrapped shooting on the single’s video, directed by Dayo.
The rapper headed to Miami for the shoot, which will feature appearances from his other Cash Money/Young Money family members Mack Maine, and Brian “Birdman” Williams.
Despite receiving a healthy amount of buzz of the past year, the Dallas native has been putting in work since he was discovered by Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant, at just 12 years old.
Since then he has already dropped three mixtapes, and is working on a fourth, which will be a joint effort with Justin Bieber.
