Afeni Shakur Davis has to wait a little longer to deal with her case stemming from a drug arrest.
Tupac’s mom, who was arrested last April after getting caught with marijuana on her person, will now go before a judge on June 2, making it the third time that her case has been delayed. This time, it was prolonged without any given reason.
Shakur was initially arrested in Lumberton, North Carolina after state alcohol agents pinned her for possession of marijuana, simple possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling or place for a controlled substance.
She was briefly imprisoned and later released on a $10,000 bond, with plans for her to return to Robeson County District Court for her sentencing on May 10.
