“Loose talk” MP chased out of Parliament

There is confusion in Parliament as Speaker of the House has ordered Majority Leader to produce Afram Plains MP Emmanuel Didieye to appear before the House.

Second Deputy Speaker Prof. Mike Ocquaye who is presiding over today’s sitting in the absence of the Justice Bamford-Addo, is reported to be displeased at the MP’s “unguarded” remarks.

Mr. Didieye had said on Adom FM on Thursday that nearly 80% of MP’s are womanisers and chase young girls on the streets. He repeated the allegation on Dwaso Nsem on Friday morning.

Emmaneul Didieye was reported to have fled after some members demanded that he should mention names of MP’s whom he claims to be womanising.

The MP’s have expressed disgust at the MP’s “unguarded” statements while some have called for him to be dragged before the Privileges Committee for questioning.

His whereabout is yet to be determined.
