Shortly after Prodigy’s release from prison, he reunited with his Mobb Deep partner Havoc for the duo’s first recording in years. ‘Love Y’all More,’ produced by The Alchemist, premiered on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 show Wednesday night (March 16), with the song thanking fans for keeping their legacy alive while P was away.
Sporting a beat with emotive strings and subtle horns, the track begins with Prodigy announcing the duo’s triumphant return. “Well, well, damn it to hell, fuck is Mobb Deep?/ Where y’all been at scraps? Recharging the batteries/ Had to regroup, reboot the system, press reset/ Fresh start right from where we started at,” he raps.
