The President, John Evans Atta Mills has relieved Mr Harry Ayamya Epsona of his post as the Municipal Chief Executive for Bolgatanga, with immediate effect.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the President, J.K Bebaako-Mensah noted that the Upper East Regional Minister is to oversee the Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly until a new Chief Executive is appointed.
President Mills on Wednesday March 16 dismissed five MMDCEs from their post.
They included Mr Victor Herman Condorbrey of the Hohoe Municipal Assembly, Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly MCE, Mr Kobina Pra Annan, Mr Joseph Jones Amoah of the Ahanta West District Assembly, Mr Moses Kofi Armah of the Bibiani/Ahwianso Bekwai District and Mr Victor Nyianyi Keblan of the Jomoro District Assembly.
