Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Claude Makelele has revealed the friction with the French capital side is not helping them to do well in the league and possible claim the title at season’s end.
PSG have dropped off the place, currently sit in fifth place, seven points leaders Lille, but the midfielder hopes the players can unite and win the title.
“There are some issues which need to be sorted out between us,” the 38-year-old captain told SkySports. “Some time ago, Mevlut Erding, Guillaume Hoarau and Mamadou Sakho had some difficult moments and we all showed solidarity.
“Sometimes different sides to us can surface. We have to learn to manage that.
“Some issues have caused friction within the group, but I am not worried about the squad.”
