The second round of the Bank Windhoek Namibian National Enduro Series will take place tomorrow, on the farm Omakwara in the Witvlei district.

The National Quad class will provide some excitement with youngster Pierre Cronje challenging Fanie Steenkamp and Michiel Behnke from Walvis Bay.

With the continued rainfall in the area, the racers are set to enjoy cool weather and significant reduction in dust.

“Jana de Jesus has joined the National Open class last year and will add to the adventure of the race,” said Heiko Hennes, Chairman of the Enduro Working Group.

“We invite all Enduro enthusiasts to support this event and to experience the action,” he added.

To get top the race venue, supporters travelling from Windhoek must follow the B6 road, that leads to the Hosea Kutako International Airport, for 145km and then turn left onto gravel road D1658 and drive for another 27 kilometres.

Main sponsors Bank Windhoek Head said it was honoured to be part of the second race of the National Enduro Series. The event is co-sponsored by Chelsea Fashion.

“We wish the riders good luck and a safe ride,” said the bank’s Head of Corporate Communication and Social Investment Riaan van Rooyen.

The organisers said refreshments will be on sale at the venue.
