Verdict: Cliched woman-in-peril thriller

In The Resident, former
Oscar-winner Hilary Swank runs around a creepy Brooklyn apartment in her
underwear being spied on by her kinky landlord (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)
and, of course, us.
Not exciting: Hilary Swank’s new movie The Resident fails to impress
It’s the kind of exercise in mildly salacious
voyeurism that has been attempted many times before, in movies such as
Sliver and Hider In The House.
This is the least thrilling version yet.
