Sunderland Find Simple Injury Fix For Crock John Mensah

English Premier League side Sunderland may have found a fix to Ghana defender John Mensah’s injury problems.

Injuries have restricted him to 22 starts since he arrived in August 2009 from Lyon and manager Steve Bruce is contemplating handing him a permanent deal in the summer.

But now he feels he has found a simple solution.

Mensah revealed: “They have told me to drink a lot of water. When I was younger, I didn’t drink much water. My back is the problem but it seems to help, even if I need the toilet a lot.

“I have to drink a whole bottle before training, during training, when I am finished and also some in the evening when I am at home.”
