I just heard an explosion, the next thing I saw was darkness – Survivor

He never expected that he would be lying in the hospital in pains, but Ahmed Bello, a father of five, was full of appreciation to his maker for sparing his life on his IBB Specialised Hospital, Minna bed. To him, his survival from the explosion at Government Secondary School, Suleja, was an act of God.

Bello, who was full of praises to God, said he was trying to locate his car parked by the fence of the school when he heard an explosion and the next thing he saw was to find himself on the ground in a pool of his blood and in excruciating pains.

Hear him: “I was in Suleja where the Zone A rally of PDP was taking place. I cannot recall the time, after the national anthem when the governor had finished his speech, I was trying to locate my car and as I was approaching the gate, I just heard a big sound and I said a prayer because I usually pray when I hear any occurrence of something sudden.

“After my prayer, all I saw was darkness and the next thing I felt was that I was on the ground and I could not move my legs. I had to drag myself to where I heard sounds.”
