Club Africain will take on Egypt’s Zamalek in the next round

Tunisia’s Club Africain are in the next round of the African Champions League after a 4-0 second leg win over APR of Rwanda, to go through 6-2 on aggregate.

It was the first official match to take place in Tunisia since the country’s revolution.

10 thousand fans were allowed to attend the game and security was arranged by the club itself – there were no police in the stadium.

Club Africain will play Egyptian giants Zamalek in the next round.

There are three other Champions League matches due to be played this weekend.

All three were put back because one or both teams involved had a number of players taken to the CHAN tournament by their national sides.

In Cameroon, Astres Douala host US de Bitam of Gabon on Saturday – that tie is 0-0 from the first leg.

Also in Cameroon, Cotonsport Garoua play Vital’O from Burundi in the second leg of a tie which is 2-2 from the first leg.
