Kotoko Coach: No More Experiment

Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s expatriate trainer Bogdan Korak says he will not do any more experiment with his team now that the league has resumed. He disclosed that he used the long league break to experiment with players and tactics, to see which is suitable for the team.

Now that the league has bounced back, the Serbian said he would tackle every game with the seriousness that it deserves.

Kotoko, during the league break played several friendly games, but the team failed to shine in those instances. Kotoko even surrendered a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 to visiting Africa Sports of Cote D’Ivoire at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi during the period.

Coach Korak noted that those friendly games were only used by him to test his tactics, to determine which one is best suited for the club. He added that he also used the game to personally assess the talent and behaviour of the players.

According to the Kotoko trainer, he has now gathered the vital information he needs so he would implement what he deemed as the suitable tactics for Kotoko to tame their opponents in every game.
