Ever since her days as a lowly broadcaster in Northern Ireland, Christine Bleakley’s been determined to become one of the highest-paid presenters in television.

So with a glittering career under her belt and a three-year deal with ITV that’s worth £4 million, you’d think the 32-year-old would be happy to sit back and marvel at her success – but that’s not the case because she’s already working on goal No 2.

‘Christine knew from an early age what career she wanted and how to get it,’ says a pal.

‘The same applies to her personal life and one of the big things on her wish list is to be a mother.

‘The first step, of course, is to be the perfect parental figure to her boyfriend Frank Lampard’s two daughters.’
