This is the moment Charlie Sheen said goodbye to his twin boys as police removed them from his LA mansion.
In footage that has surfaced today, the troubled actor kisses his sons Bob and Max, who turn two later this month, after handing them over to officers.
A member of Sheen’s entourage captured the scene on video, which shows the 45-year-old calming handing over his sons.
The boys can be heard saying ‘Dada’ as the Two And A Half Men star straps them into a car set.

Police visited his home last night after Brooke Mueller filed a restraining order against him.
Mueller
claims Sheen has been physically and verbally abusive towards her – at
one point knocking her unconscious – and a judge ordered earlier in the
day that Sheen must stay 100 yards away from Mueller and their children.
She made several other accusations
against the actor in a sworn statement to a LA court, including claims
he made references to having people killed and once used an anti-Semitic
slur against his own manager, Mark Burg.
Sheen has dismissed the claims as ‘lies’ and branded the restraining order ‘retarded’ and ‘frickin’ gibberish’.
In a live interview with NBC’s Today
Show, he demanded to know the whereabouts of his sons as he spoke
directly to Mueller while staring straight down the barrel of the
camera.

‘Brooke I am sorry you felt his had
to be done in this way,’ he said. ‘This does not display any responsible parenting
that I am familiar with.’

‘I am sure that cooler, smarter and
leveler heads can prevail and I urge you to reach out to me immediately
if not sooner and tell me where our sons are.’
He certainly didn’t seem to have a
level head just hours earlier when he reacted to having his children
removed by telling Radar Online: ‘My fangs are dripping tiger blood.’

Sheen’s children were removed following
increasingly outrageous interviews where the Two And A Half Men star boasted about his
‘polygamous’ lifestyle with a porn star and a former model.

Mueller, who has been in and out of
rehab, had accompanied the actor and his two girlfriends Bree Olson –
also known as Rachel Oberlin – and Natalie Kenly to the Bahamas last
week.
He now says she was ejected from the
trip for using drugs and today provided Radar Online with a photograph
he claims is proof she is using again.
The image appears to show a home made
crack pipe, foil, spoons, drug residue and the Mueller’s driver’s
license which had been used to cut up lines of cocaine.
‘I gotta believe a judge is going to frown on that,’ he said.
In legal documents, Mueller admits to
‘falling off the wagon last week,’ adding: ‘I have not been perfect and I
have struggled with my own sobriety issues over the past year and a
half.
‘[Sheen] has not supported my recovery and rehabilitation in any way. He mocks my recovery efforts.’
Sheen also criticised Mueller’s
parenting skills, saying: ‘She’ll roll [the twins] out for a photo op,
but knows nothing about child care.’
During the NBC interview, Sheen was seen touching his heart as he blew a
kiss and spoke to his sons directly: ‘Max it is dada, I will see you
very soon you are right here.’
‘They [the boys] were just being put
to bed and my assistant informed me that the police were on their way
down to issue a restraining order,’ Sheen said in a live interview on
NBC’s Today Show.
‘I thought ‘Okay , we can deal with that.’
‘I got my lawyer on the phone but once they [police] arrived at the door it was revealed they were there to remove Bob and Max.
‘I have professed in the last few
days that I will not come at it from a place of panic, ego or emotion so
I stayed very calm and focussed. If someone badges you, then they win
in that moment.
‘I did not push it as I am not into
resisting the law so I had to surrender to it knowing that this is now
the challenge I claim to be looking for and I am more than willing to
take on this task.

BROOKE IN HER OWN WORDS
‘In October 2009, [Sheen] knocked me to the floor causing me to hit my head on the corner of a couch. I was knocked unconscious and required medical attention, including a CAT scan.
‘I
am very concerned that [Sheen] is currently insane. I am in great fear
that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the
children’s safety while in his care.
‘I believe his rage is the result of an intense mental issue, rather than simply a reaction to substance abuse.
‘I have not been perfect and I have struggled with my own sobriety issues over the past year and a half. [Sheen] has not supported my recovery and rehabilitation in any way. He mocks my recovery efforts.’
‘I went upstairs with the nannies
very calmly, we videotaped it all to show that, it was very even and
direct. They did not have car seats so I provided them.
‘I said ‘I love you’, I said ‘Don’t say goodbye, say see you later’ and I believe that will be very soon.’
Sheen was then asked if he now knew the physical whereabouts of his sons.
‘Good question, I do not. At this moment on live television I do not know where my children are,’ Sheen said.
‘I stupidly assumed they were going
back to the house they have been living in with Brooke when they are not
with me, but we have had reports that they are at some hotel in Santa
Monica.
‘I am not panicking, it is not about
emotion or ego, it is about getting very focussed and getting in touch
with what I have to do to complete the task of bringing these two
beautiful young men back to the home in which they deserve to be raised
in.
‘There is more love, compassion,
support, childcare and everything else you could possibly want for a
child in this lovely home.’
Sheen went on to deny Mueller’s claims he had threatened to ‘cut off’ her head and ‘send it in a box’ to her mother.
‘It is very colourful but no I did
not. It is a good one I guess, if you spend enough time around me you
can say things and make it sound like it comes from my mouth but then
again you can do that from watching re-runs.’
Asked about the criticism of his
domestic arrangements, Sheen said: ‘I invite anyone to come in and
observe. There is nothing to hide, there is nothing but love, compassion
and support for these children.

Sheen and Mueller are both required to attend a hearing on March 22 to see if the restraining order will be extended.
In court papers, Mueller stated: ‘I
am very concerned that [Sheen] is currently insane. I am in great fear
that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the
children’s safety while in his care.’

Mueller also provided the court with a copy of a text from Sheen that read: ‘I must execute mark b like the stoopid jew pig that he is.’
The message, which appears to be a reference to his manager Mark Burg, comes days after Sheen was accused of being anti-Semitic in rant against Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre.
Mueller alleges Sheen asked her to pay back $20,000 in cash so that he could ‘have untraceable cash to “knock off a few people” because “the people I hate violently are going to get severely punished.”‘
Mueller previously claimed he took their
twins from her residence without her permission on February 26 and had
since stopped her from seeing them.
When she tried to get the twins back,
Sheen allegedly threatened her saying: ‘I will cut your head off, put
it in a box and send it to your mom’ she claimed.
Mueller also alleged that while on
holiday to the Bahamas last week with his two girlfriends, Sheen
launched into a tirade against her in which he punched her on the arm
and spat on her feet.
She claims in court documents that he ‘threatened to stab my eye with a pen knife’.
When asked contacted by U.S. magazine
People if he planned to fight for custody of his sons, Sheen replied
with a text message that read: ‘Born ready. Winning.’
Sheen and Mueller split in 2009 after
he threatened her with a knife on Christmas Day.
She now alleges that following the fight, Sheen told her, ‘I should have killed you when I had the chance.’
They filed their
final divorce papers on February 10 this year and the divorce is expected
to be finalised on May 2.
