Centre-back Ofosu Appiah could be sanctioned by Kotoko
Asante Kotoko duo Michael Ofosu Appiah and David Offei could face sanctions from the club for going public on club matters, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
Defender Ofosu Appiah was reported to have claimed on a Kumasi-based local radio station Kessben FM, Kotoko played a match of convenience against regional rivals Ashantigold last season by indicting some top brass of the club as the chief architect.
The interview is said to have incensed the club’s top hierarchy.
Offei is also to face the same wrath for his outburst on another radio station following his dismissal from the club’s friendly tie against All Stars last week.
Head coach Bogdan Korak ordered the midfielder off the field after he misplaced a pass from a colleague- a scenario which attracted wild condemnation from fans.
