    Boardwalk Empire star Gretchen Mol has welcomed her second child into the world.

    The 38-year-old gave birth to a baby girl on February 17 in New York, but only announced the happy news today.

    She and her husband, Paranormal Activity 2 Director Tod Williams named their daughter Winter Morgan Williams.

    Her spokesperson confirmed the news to People magazine, saying: ‘Everyone is happy and healthy and resting at home. The whole family is overjoyed.’

    Gretchen announced her pregnancy last year at a film première.
    And her timing for the birth couldn’t be any better.

    The actress is currently on break from filming her hit show, Boardwalk Empire.

    She has a recurring role on the HBO hit series as Gillian Darmody, a showgirl at the Beaux Arts.
