Kevin-Prince Boateng celebrating his goal for AC Milan
Ghana World Cup star Kevin-Prince Boateng came off the bench to score the second in AC Milan’s 3-0 victory over Napoli on Monday night.
Milan needed maximum points to keep their five-point lead at the top of the table intact but things proved difficult in the first for the home side.
Milan returned from the recess more composed and Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted from the penalty spot in the 49th minute after Salvatore Aronica’s handball.
Boss Massimiliano Allegri then brought on Boateng for Brazilian Robinho with 63 minutes gone and he made an impact.
Alexandre Pato served Boateng inside the area and he fired past De Sanctis to double the home side’s advantage.
Pato then scored to make it 3-0.
