SOCCER star Louis Saha cheated death last night when he crashed his Ferrari sports car on a busy country road.
The former Manchester United ace, 32, who now plays for Everton, lost control in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Police said the damage to the vehicle was “extensive”.
Amazingly the Frenchman who was in the car alone escaped without injury and did not need hospital treatment.
Police said the crash happened on Altrincham Road, Wilmslow.
A source added: “Saha is lucky to be alive.”
The star owns a £170,000 Ferrari 458 Italia model.
All 1,200 were recalled by the firm in September last year as a design fault could make them to catch fire.
Saha, rock star Eric Clapton and broadcaster Chris Evans, were among 50 of the car’s owners in Britain.
