Speaking to the issue on Kokrokoo, with host Kwami Sefa-Kayi in the seat, Mr. Boasilenu also accused the MCE of being behind an attack against him on Tuesday when he was on hois way to the bank. According to him, though the attackers fled, he was able to identify one of them, who he described as the MCE’s right-hand man.
He alleged that the MCE had embezzled funds and put up three houses less than two years into the administration of the Mills’-led NDC government. He further accused him of always cruising around in a fleet of cars.
However, the MCE, Hon. Kondobri in a quick rebuttal on the same platform, flatly denied all the allegations levelled against him and indirectly accused the Chairman of being ungrateful.
Interestingly, the party Chairman happens to be the MCE’s protégé in school.
He disclosed that he (MCE) was the one who introduced the chairman to politics and also brought him into the NDC family.
“In 2004, I bought a land behind St. Francis Training College. I have never instructed anyone to go for his car or attack him and I don’t have three cars; I have only one,” Mr. Kondobri.
But Mr. Boasilenu insisted on his claims and promised to provide pictorial evidence of the houses and other form of evidence to back his claims.
