Berlusconi acquired the club back on February 20, 1986 and it has been a long and successful journey since then, the Rossoneri winning 26 major honors including seven Scudetti and five European Cups as well as a Club World Cup in 2007, among a hoard of other titles.
Galliani hailed Berlusconi’s era, perhaps the best in the club’s 112-year history.
“After 25 years nothing has changed. Milan is in Silvio Berlusconi’s heart. Milan are Silvio Berlusconi,” Galliani told Il Corriere della Sera.
“These 25 years represent the president and they have been marvellos.
“Berlusconi has been a great football innovator.”
Galliani hopes the club can celebrate their 25 years under Berlusconi with a Champions League win.
“The dream is to return to winning the Champions League,” he said.
